The project was closely co-operated with Living Factory, a revitalization project for an old factory in Dabrowa Górnicza. The aim of the project was to propose a spatial object that would promote the existence of Living Factory among the residents of Dabrowa. As part of the project, I designed a system of signs inspired by the factory's logo. As a team, we designed two interactive walls – a map of Dabrowa and its most important historical places and a timeline – the history of the city from the partitions to the present.
Target group: all citizens of Dabrowa Górnicza and visitors of the city.
Project constraints:
• project existing in a city space,
• reference to the existing visual identification of the company,
• reference to the history of the former factory and the city,
• interaction via multiple senses (sight, hearing, touch).
Methods:
• field study,
• user scenario map,
• 1:1 prototyping.
